MAESTRO DIATONIC ACCORDIONS
For years we have been repairing Norteno accordions at our shop in Costa Mesa, CA. The players have begged us to build something new for them. Instead of building the same old accordion that they are used to, we've decided to give the Norteno market the super professional sound that only existed in Piano and Chromatic accordions for over 70 YEARS. The key to this sound is to build a Cassotto or Double Tone Chamber inside the accordion. This gives the small Norteno accordion the sound of the big professional Piano accordions. It took us 2 years to design and build these new accordions. The most professional Piano and Chromatic accordions come with 11 to 13 registers in order to give the musician the most freedom of musical expression. We have broken the 5 switch rule in order to give the Norteno players of the future the most options for their music.
